Contract: PSCM Category Specialist - Wells - £275 - £300 per day / England

An oil and gas major currently require a PSCM Category Specialist – Wells for a major capital expenditure project for a 12 month renewable contract to be based in Sunbury, UK

The PSCM Category Specialist will includes the safe, compliant and effective execution of Drilling and Measurement service and product lines; Supports ‘end-to-end’ sourcing, from strategy and bid list preparation to RFP development, evaluation, negotiation, contract award, post award contract management (including call off management), supplier and performance management activities all within the boundaries of established framework and supply agreements; Working closely with the technical team in Iraq; Supports the implementation and delivery of the Wells Contractor Safety Management Program; Work closely with all stakeholders to control and monitor expenditure and add value through the adoption of a strategic Category Management approaches. Utilises best practice Category Management processes and procedures to ensure business requirements are fulfilled and value is optimized across the Region; Builds and manages supplier relationships, local content/supplier diversity; and other ad hoc duties.

You will have a university degree with MCIPS qualification or equivalent. You will have a strong understanding and experience within category management with a track record of successful PSCM delivery within complex, challenging, international upstream environments.

Ideally, you will have experience working in the Middle East / with Middle Eastern projects; experience of wells category; knowledge of sourcing from low cost countries; and experience of Ariba and SAP.
