Lifting Coach and Tech Adv
Job Description:
- Proven Team Leader
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs
- Ability to perform quarterly verification of Regional Lifting Activities according to Company requirements
- Strong understanding of Marine and Subsea Lifting activities and understanding various international recognised Marine and SubSea standards such as DNVGL-ST-N001 or similar.
- Ability to perform effectively in a team environment, inclusive of demonstrating collaborative, cooperative, flexible, adaptable, respectful, and tactful personal characteristics
- Excellent work and personal ethics that include trustworthiness, commitment, and empathy
- Confident, creative, and energetic approach to addressing all quality-related issues
- Competent in effectively communicating in both verbal and written English
- Ability to advise Delivery Team to stop work if significant issues arise in meeting Technical Specification requirements or there is a likelihood that safety is compromised
- Ability to develop and implement lifting Management System documentation
- Physical ability to walk, climb, and otherwise access construction work locations
- Ability of auditing the contractors, service providers in order ensure contractors work as per contract requirements
- Have training and mentoring experience
Skills/Qualifications:
- Internationally recognised technical qualification e.g. Higher National Certificate or equivalent
- level 4 - specific training for Lifting Technical Authority
- Expertise in comprehending, interpreting, and communicating lifting specifications, fabrication drawings, lifting methods, rigging and structural calculations & specifications, in-depth understanding of international standards and LOLER, inspection and certification requirements / reports.
- Full understanding of planning and work flow process
- Ability to communicate upper management and to multi language work force
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and AutoCad
- Ability to operate various contractors Document Control systems such as Documentum,DocProNet or similar
15 years' experience in heavy construction
- Experience with advanced lifting techniques such as Jack and Skid, Superlift, Row-Rows, strand jacks
- Be Familiar of Mega Jack Systems
- Must have experience of construction of Drilling Modulus
- Experience of methods, lift design, design of lifting attachments and accessories
- Experience of lifting within the oil & gas industry for onshore and offshore facilities and equipment including, Heavy steel construction, Heavy Cranes, SPMT's, Marine Subsea and Installation
- Understanding of training & Competency requirements
- Experience in a lifting Leadership role
- Experience of leading a multi-national team
- Substantial experience closely aligned with job responsibilities (see section 5)
