Do you have experience within in a manufacturing environment with a flair for improving pre planned maintenance?
An exciting opportunity has arisen at one of the most established and reputable manufacturing companies in the UK for a Reliability Engineer who will analyse data on plant performance in order to improve and maximise availability of the plant and processes
As the Reliability Engineer….?
You’ll use data to generate reports of failure trends, significant breakdowns and make recommendations for proactive replacement of parts based on MTBF (Mean time between failures)
You’ll use your Reliability Engineer skills to implement measures of performance for engineering utilising existing KPI’s and creation of value added KPIs that drive cost reduction, increased GOE and improve safety.
You’ll implement and drive a process for root cause analysis of significant / repeat failures and implement corrective action plans ensuring regular communication with the manufacturing shift leaders, engineering team and process leaders to understand key issues.
You’ll work with the purchasing organisation to identify spare parts that can be sourced from alternative suppliers to maintain quality and reduce cost, carrying out assessments on new / modified equipment as to establish the preventative maintenance plan (PM & OAC) and critical high risk spares
You….?
You’ll be a time served multi skilled engineer ideally with HNC qualification or equivalent in a Technical discipline or suitable knowledge through experience. A strong technical knowledge of PLC’s, Drives, Networks & Mechanics.
You’ll ideally be data driven, have a working experience of SAP and have maintenance planning as an upmost importance throughout your working day.
You’ll finally have experience in the application of Health & Safety procedures with an understanding of the principles of Employment and Safety at Work Legislation & PUWER Regulations.
