Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a “Subsea Tree Manufacturing Supervisor” to work on either a long term contract out of Malaysia.

Job Scope:
 
Responsibilities

  1. Report to the Sr Subsea Engineer to oversee the manufacturing and testing of subsea trees
  2. Carry out surveillance of the work to ensure the work is being done in accordance with the approved procedures and specifications
  3. Review work procedures submitted to ensure the work tasks are safe to be carried out and meeting the specification
  4. Carry out work surveillance to ensure the work plan and schedule are being met
  5. Monitor the work progress and to review the daily production report to confirm the correctness of reporting
  6. Work with the inspector to attend to the necessary testing and witnessing ensuring compliance with safety procedures and quality standards
  7. Co-ordinates and interfaces between the various parties involved in the manufacturing to ensure the timely and continuous manufacturing process
  8. Provide production data to Sr Subsea Engineer for reporting and interfacing 
  9. Communicate and work with Sr Subsea Engineer and other personnel regarding issues which affect the quality and performance of the work
  10. Ensure paperwork is complete at each stage of manufacturing
  11. Perform other related duties as assigned.

 
Requirements

  1. Have a tertiary degree in a technical field or a higher diploma with extensive experience in subsea projects and tree manufacturing 
  2. Have a minimum of 15 years of overall experience of which 8 must be related to subsea production system and tree manufacturing.
  3. Have good hand-on field experience in supervising similar sea production system and tree manufacturing.
  4. Have working knowledge of codes & standards such as ASME, DOT, API, OSHA, and AWS inspection procedures.
  5. Have experience utilizing MS Project for project scheduling (preferred).
