Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop processes to improve value in the areas of safety, production rates, reliability, cost and quality;
• Working with shift operations and process engineering in developing, delivering and monitoring operability tools, which seek to improve plant performance, availability and efficiency;
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize plant operations;
• Maintain strong safety and environmental compliance focus;
• Lead incident investigations including root cause analysis, outage planning and execution, problem solving and plant improvement activities;
• Balance day-to-day operational priorities with long-term strategic objectives to ensure alignment with company goals;
• Provide process design support for capital projects.

Requirements

Requirements:

• You have an HBO degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or proven HBO work level;
• You have good knowledge of chemical engineering and process technology;
• Proven working experience in Chemical and/or Petrochemical environment;
• Courses in Chemistry and unit operations;
• Quality-, safety-, instruction knowledge and ability to work within them;
• Knowledge of automation systems;
• Knowledge of HSE-systems and high safety and quality awareness;
• You are flexible, analytical and stress resistant;
• You proactively search for improvements in all areas;
• You are able to talk to and/or correct team members on attitude and behavior issues;
• You are able to handle confidential information;
• You are fluent in both Dutch as English.
