Description

• The consultant will work in a team with other engineers.
• The tasks will cover all aspects of BOP/Well control systems, including operational procedures, design and operability, structural verifications, inspections and maintenance.
• The consultant is expected to collaborate with several sectors in Drilling and well technology.

Duties will include: 

• Follow up BOP/well control systems on drilling units on a daily basis 
• Provide discipline advise 
• Verification of contractors/3rd party analyses 
• Verification of BOP/Well control equipment during rig mobilisation 

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree.
• Experience from design, development, survey or operation of well control equipment.
• Operational experience from MODU and deep water operations.
• General knowledge of drilling equipment.
• Language requirements English
