Sr Legal Advisor / UAE

We are currently recruiting for Sr Legal Advisor - to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful applicant will be a key appointment to the project and will head the legal team of the organization.

Job Purpose:

To provide effective legal advice and ensure that all business processes and functions are being carried out in compliance with relevant legal and contracts related regulations

Provide advice to the management to safeguard against any illegal decision

Manage corporate legal issues and matters including establishment, acquisitions, mergers etc. 

Settle all disputes, litigations etc. in coordination with external lawyers/advisors, as and when required

Conduct research and analysis of the implications of laws and regulatory matters that affects the company

Lease Contracts, Distribution Ship Agreements, Franchise Agreements, Real Estate Contracts, Sale & Purchase Agreements, Licensing Agreements, Supply Agreements etc

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of legal advisory/contract management experience in public/private sector organization
• Contract management experience in public/private sector defence engineering and R&D organization
• Experience with joint venture arrangements and commercial law
• Experience in General Corporate/Commercial/Transactional areas either within a law firm or as In-house Counsel
• Arabic speaker is preferred.
