The client, based in Aberdeen, through its Asset Integrity Management (AIM) service line, delivers a complete range of integrity engineering, inspection and related services for all stages of an asset's life cycle. The Pressure Systems Integrity Management (PSIM) department within AIM is looking to appoint an individual to manage this key department area. The ideal candidate will have experience in the provision and the delivery of the current service lines offered within the PSIM department:

- Perform detailed pipe stress analysis utilising todays modelling and analysis software, Caesar 2, PSA5, PVE5 and Finglow analysis software.
- Perform Fitness for Service (FfS) analysis of pressurised systems to Level 1,2 and 3 assessments for defects, fatigue and fracture assessment
- Assist in in the Pressure Systems Integrity Management services delivery within AIM UK and also AIM International as directed
- Assisting in the strategic development of the Pressure System Integrity Management department, assigned services and personnel in line with AIM and Aker Solutions drivers, guidelines and objectives
- Provide mentoring of junior team member as requirements
- Responsible for the execution of workscopes across the range of the PSIM department within AIM UK services
- Provide technical support within your specific discipline
- Provide input to weekly, monthly progress reports and associated meetings
Qualifications / Personal Attributes:
- Educated to Degree level in engineering discipline with 7-10 years minimum relevant experience within similar position/industry
- Be able to perform complex stress analysis modelling of pipework and pressure systems
- Risk Based Inspection (RBI) procedure and program development utilising API RP581 I DNVGL RP-G 101 and Company methods
- Perform pressurised systems Fitness for Service (FfS) engineering criticality assessments for corrosion, erosion and crack like defects utilising analysis piping and FEA tools for Level 1, 2 and 3 assessments, based on the API 579/ASME FFS 1 and BS7910 procedures
- Perform Pressurised Plant Vibration Risk Assessments (VRA) based on industry standard El Guidelines
- Good presentation and meeting skills
- Good communicator at all levels within the organisation and with external clients
- Aware of latest technical developments
