Petrochemical Engineering Manager (Plastics & Rubbers) / England

Petrochemical Subject Matter Expert with 20 years+ Process Engineering, Process Simulation and Automation experience, working on PFDs / UFDs, HMB, equipment sizing, selection and specification, PSVs and flare system sizing and specification.

You will also work on equipment sizing (furnaces, cold and hot fractionation areas) and process configuration and optimization studies to increase product yield, reduce utility consumption (steam, power, cooling water) and reduce / mitigate flare loads.

The client are very specific about the list of product technologies that this person will need to have experienced (a fair few of): VCM (Vinyl Chloride Monomer), Vinyl Acetate, UOP LD Parex (Paraxylene), Toluene Methylation, Poly Vinyl Chloride, Ethylene Oxide / Ethylene Glycol, Acetates, Acrylates (Butyl, Ethyl, Methyl etc), Polyethylene / Polypropylene, Polybutadiene Rubber (PBR), Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR).

This is a management role, managing a team of up to 15 Process Engineers working on multiple projects.
