Industrial Relations Manager ($130K per annum) / Australia

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Industrial Relations Manager to work on a large renewable energy project in the Shire of Benalla in Victoria.  We are looking for n individual who is highly experienced working in the Victorian market who has a proven capability of working with regional stakeholders, local authority’s etc.

On a daily basis your duties will include but not be limited to;

• Proactively addressing and implementing IR solutions that achieve the project objectives
• Providing advice in relation to the current industrial relations environment and union expectations
• Liaising with the Victorian government and public entities
• Interpreting agreements and represent management in negotiation and settlement of grievances under established procedures
• Acting as the representative with union offices
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements are all relevant Company and Group policies and processes.
• Consulting and advising senior management on industrial relations issues and risks.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and proven ability to report efficiently to public authorities. It is essential that you have experience dealing with public authorities in Victoria; candidates who have experience on renewable energy projects will be highly regarded.

There is an opportunity to either work on this project as a permanent employee or on a contractual basis (Ad hoc etc)
