Pressure Vessel Engineer
- Location: Milan, Italy
- Project: TBC
- Start: March 2020
- Duration: 12 month renewable contracts
- Rotation: 120 / 16 days
- Working Week: 8 hrs p/day - 5 days p/week Mon-Fri
- Salary: Negotiable

- Pressure Vessels and Columns Mechanical Design Engineer:
Knowledge of mechanical design aspects of pressure vessels and distillation/fractionation columns for Oil & Gas industry, including specific topics as wind/seismic design.
Knowledge of separation internals (e.g. demisters, distribution and inlet devices, vane packs, coalescing elements) and mass transfer internals (e.g. trays, random packings, structured packings).
Experience and ability to carry out the following EPC Contractor activities:
Critical review of General Specifications (Clients / Licensors / Others).
Preparation of General Specifications.
Preparation of Mechanical Engineering Drawing.
Preparation of Material Requisition (Technical Supply Specification).
Technical evaluation of vendor bids and subsequent issue of the Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) document package.
Vendor Follow-up, after Purchase Order issue.
Experience in mechanical calculation of pressure vessels and columns; familiarity with common commercial mechanical calculation software (e.g. PVElite, Compress).
Knowledge of the main calculation codes relevant to pressure equipment (ASME Sect.VIII Division 1 code, as a minimum).
Knowledge of Shell DEP specification package relevant to static equipment.
At least 34 years experience in the position; at least 2 lots of either pressure vessels, columns, separation internals ad mass transfer internals managed, in terms of either Engineering, TBE and Vendor Follow-Up activities; at least 1 project regulated by Shell DEP carried out. -
