Do you have maintenance and project experience within PLC’s in a manufacturing environment?
An exciting opportunity has arisen at one of the most established and reputable manufacturing companies in the UK for a Control Engineer who will effectively maximise availability of the plant and processes and ensure they operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
As the Control Engineer….?
You’ll carry out effective, efficient fault finding and problem resolution to root cause where possible on a wide range of complex systems in a continuous process environment so that they maintain the plant to deliver the target operating efficiencies.
You’ll lead your area to ensure Control Engineer documentation is available and up to date and a routine software backup/comparison is completed and stored correctly. In addition you would be the key contact point for any projects or modifications in your area
You….?
You’ll be a time served multi skilled engineer ideally with HNC qualification or equivalent in a Technical discipline or suitable knowledge through experience. A strong technical knowledge of PLC’s, Drives, Networks & Mechanics.
You’ll have a working experience of Rockwell (Allen Bradley) Logix PLC’s, Power flex / Ultra Drives, Devicenet / Ethernet and HV Switching.
You’ll finally have experience in the application of Health & Safety procedures with an understanding of the principles of Employment and Safety at Work Legislation & PUWER Regulations.
