Contract: Bridge Specialist Engineer ($8,500 per month tax free) / Georgia

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking a Bridge Engineer for a Road Construction Supervision project in Georgia.

Opportunity:

My client is a leading European consultancy firm who are requiring support for an on-going Road project, consisting of a number of Bridge, Viaducts and Tunnels in Europe. You would be working as part of an International team on behalf of the client throughout the Supervision phase of this scheme. This is a European Investment Bank (EIB) funded project using FIDIC contract conditions

Responsibilities on the project:

Working along side the Team Leader, the Bridge Specialist shall be responsible for overseeing the construction of all Bridge & Viaduct elements. This shall include Reporting on Progress, resolving Technical Issues and ensuring the appointed Chinese Contractor is maintaining quality standards.

You shall be supported by additional bridge resources and be liaising closely with Tunnel, Highway and other specialist disciplines.

Key requirements for the role:

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering with specialization in bridge engineering.
• 15+ years of international experience in construction supervision works
• 5 years of experience under FIDIC Conditions of the Contract.
• Regional experience would be beneficial
