Job description

My client is Urgently seeking a competent and qualified Quantity Surveyor OR Cost Engineer to work with a large Civil project in Norway.

They will work with the final 5 or so months of a current project and potentially move on to other projects in the region following this. The project requires Norwegian language skills so should speak Norwegian OR Swedish/Danish to be able to communicate with stakeholders on the project.

They should have experience in Quantity Surveying and Cost to be able to run the invoicing, accounting and quantities on the project.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost control and/or procurement .
  • BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
  • Assists Project Management in all aspects of contract administration and Quantity Surveying.
  • Review, advise and draft letters on contractual correspondence.
  • Attends meeting with clients and participates in all contractual aspects of day to day operations
  • Preparation of variation orders, trend notices, claims, and negotiations of the same
  • MUST be fluent in Norwegian, Swedish or Danish
