Construction Superintendent - Construction of 60 Wind Turbines / USA

We are currently recruiting for a number of Construction Superintendents to be based in Good Hope, Illinois. The project is construction of 60 wind turbines and will be predominately site based, involving physical labor.

The successful candidate will assist the Construction Manager with the supervision of onsite staff and subcontractors, ensuring safety, schedule and quality are adhered to.

Key Duties will include:

• Conduct onsite meetings to review daily, weekly and monthly planning.
• Ensure productivity and progress targets are met
• Ensure all materials, manpower and resource are in place to support the schedule
• Reviewing all subcontractor timesheets and progress payment requests
• Develop stable working relationships with onsite subcontractors
• Administer the execution of work packers and equipment installation
• Identify any potential back-charges and out of scope issues and in turn, highlight to Construction Manager

Essential requirements include:

• 5+ years’ experience of construction leadership
• Valid driver’s license
• OSHA Training certificate
