Cost Control / Quantity Surveyor - Major Light Rail Project / Sri Lanka

We are seeking a Cost Controller / Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Consulting Engineer on a major Light Rail project in Sri Lanka.

Job Role / Responsibilities

The job role will be work in the field of Cost Controls and Quantity Surveying, candidates should have a background in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, and extensive experience as a Cost Controller on Rail projects.

Project

The Colombo LRT project will run over 45 miles of track, encompassing 7 lines, and is expected to be under construction for many years to come.

Location

The role will be based in Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka, presenting ex-pats with the chance to live in a holiday location, earning a high wage while maintaining a high standard of life at a low cost.

Salary Package

The salary package consists of $12,000 - $15,000 USD PCM 'net', with Phone Sim, internal transportation, mobilisation coverage, flights home every six months and visa coverage.

Requirements

For this role the client that we are working with have a minimum requirement of

Bachelors Degree Educated

Preferably Chartered

Minimum 15 years cost controls/quantity surveying experience

Minimum 7 years relevant rail experience

Asia experience preferred
