Our client is a world leading OEM and service provider of rotating equipment. Due to company growth, they are now looking for a Sales Manager to be responsible for the growth and development of the Aftersales activities for the business.

The jobholder will hold an entrepreneurial personality and have experience with motivating and leading teams within a technical sales environment.

Experience/ knowledge required:

• Fluent in English, German and French - Essential
• Qualified to degree level within a relevant subject - e.g. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with rotating equipment - compressors, generators, pumps etc.
• 5+ years' experience within a technical sales capacity
• Experience with motivating and leading a team with a hands-on approach
• Flexible and willingness to travel

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Business Line Manager
• Responsible for the expansion and development of the service activities within the business
• Identifying new opportunities and developing current relationships
• Managing a team of 15 sales staff; providing consistent motivation, direction and leadership
• Promoting acquisition of new customer segments
• Maintaining a strong knowledge and awareness of the market
