Scope (including main skills):

 

Skills required:

 

  • More than 20 years of experienced in nuclear power plant in operation in mechanical maintenance team, including more than 5 years with management responsibility
  • Several years of experience on EPR during construction and commissioning phases (TSN or OL3 or FA3)
  • Technical knowledge on valves, pumps, other mechanical equipment important for safety of nuclear power plants (SC1, SC2, IPS -important pour la sureté-)

 

Technical:

  •  Experience in root cause analysis, risk analysis, training, implementation of nuclear safety proof processes of maintenance department

 

Scope description:

Having the authorization to inspect any scope of work part of IMO-mechanical team, the mechanical maintenance method specialist will advise and support IMO mechanical manager, team leaders and subcontractors to improve working practices within the team:

 

  • Advise to implement better training for the fitters and supervisors (started)
  • Advise the subcontractors to implement better qualification process of their staff working on OL3 (started)
  • Reinforce Inspection on the field to ensure correct performance of works (started)
  • Advise and follow implementation of risk analysis before work performance
  • Alert IMO management on weak points inside its organization

 

Ensure that health and safety project targets are met:

  • This work needs to be done having health and safety and nuclear safety as overall priority.

 

  • Report possible risks, advise, support and track improvements
  • Training support / performance

1.2.1.Working Period

The work week period is based on 5 days from Monday to Saturday.

The Supplier is responsible to arrange working hours and compensation of his employees in compliance with Finnish law and other regulations, especially – but not limited to – the Finnish Working Hours Act.
