THE ROLE

I am seeking an ambitious Chartered Quantity Surveyor who is currently working for a firm of PQS to join a growing firm with UK and overseas offices to be based in their central London office.

You will do both pre contract and post contract work and be able to run your own projects and deal directly with clients.

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects including residential, mixed use, commercial and more.

This role has been created to allow the London partner more time to do networking and business development and this office is relatively new compared to more established offices in western Europe.

THE COMPANY

My client is a medium sized firm of construction consultants providing cost management, project management, project controls and similar services to clients in the UK and in Western Europe.

They are growing and have ambitious plans.

They work on a range of projects including pharmaceutical, industrial, residential, commercial, infrastructure etc.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS qualified) with four years or more experience.

You will need experience of all pre and post contract work.

You must be able to run your own projects from inception to completion including feasibility, cost planning, tender documentation, contract award, contract admin and all post contract duties etc.

You will work closely with the London partner.

You must have good communication skills, both written and spoken.

Excellent prospects for ambitious candidates to quickly work your way up as this firm is intending to expand their London office. Also opportunity to work elsewhere in Europe.

Salary is negotiable according to level of experience plus pension, RICS fees etc.
