Estimating Team Leader / Australia

The Company:

My client are a Custom Home Builder renowned for their unique designs and quality workmanship, with builds ranging from $1m to $3m. With strong sales in recent months and investment into new Display Homes, they have a healthy pipeline of site starts ahead. Due to a restructure, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Estimating Team Leader to manage a team 7 estimators across sales and production to play a key role in the business.
  
The Job
  
Reporting to the Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing workflow of the estimating team
• Ongoing training and development of individuals
• Leading the purchasing function – building and maintaining supplier relationships  
• Driving the team to deliver results with a focus on accuracy and minimising ETOs
• Facilitating the continuous improvement of systems and processes

About You
  
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 5+ years’ experience in estimating for a Custom Home Builder
• A tertiary qualification relevant to the construction industry
• Demonstrated leadership ability in a senior or management role
• Advanced Databuild skills
