Service Engineer - Mechanical / England

My client, an established and well-reputed manufacturer of industrial equipment now has an opportunity for a Mechanical Service Engineer to join their team.

Based from their site in Halifax, West Yorkshire, this role will involve a mixture of acting as a mechanical fitter on the shop floor when required as well as to provide mechanical support and servicing to clients throughout the UK. As the main prority of the role will be to service clients in the field, the flexibility and willingness to work away from home is a must.

Candidates from all backgrounds and levels of qualification will be considered providing you are a skilled mechanical fitter with transferable experience. Candidates with experience in fan balancing will hold a distinct advantage however this is not an essential requirement as training will be provided.

In return my client offers a £28,000 starting salary rising to £30,000 on completion of training, company van + laptop + phone, hotel + credit card to cover expenses while working away, plus additional benefits.
