Testing & Commissioning Manager - Rail / USA

We are currently recruiting for a Testing and Commissioning Manager to be based in Dallas, Texas. The successful applicant will be a key appointment to the project and will work within the client’s integrated Project Management team, to lead the development and execution phase activities of Commissioning and Testing program.

Key duties will include:

• Taking oversight of activities relating to the conduct of Testing and Commissioning, such as coordination of inputs between contractors to integrate design, construction and testing
• Establishing requirements for handover programs and training
• Establishing working relationships between the client, contractors and O&M provider, whilst ensuring appropriate assurance & certification are built into the commissioning program
• Develop processes to govern the commissioning & testing related functions
• Responsible for leading a team to implement the processes developed during the development phase
• Oversee contractor’s performance during testing, commissioning and handover

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in design, construction and testing of railway systems (Desired)
• PE License (Desired)
• Experience/familiarity of Shinkansen or other high-speed rail systems (Essential)
• A rail – Civil Infrastructure background
