Drilling Superintendent / MENA Region

Job Description
We are currently recruiting for Drilling clients in the MENA region and will be looking for “Drilling Superintendent” Land Rigs.

Contract (28/28) travel day paid.

Key purpose

• Act as liaison/co-ordinator at CPF between Client Location Drilling, EP department, rig site and CPFs. 
• Provide technical support in events (well control, stuck pipe, hole problems, etc…)
• Coordinate in-field logistics support for drilling and workover rigs and liaise with Civils as it relates to both operations and EP support. 
• Work as Day Supervisor during emergencies/ personnel shortage.
• Likely to become SIMOPS coordinator for future CDR rig operations.

Technical requirements

• Broad-based drilling as it relates to conducting a safe and efficient onsite supervision for drilling and workover operations.

Financial Authority

• Cost control to support the drilling and work over operations

Management/influence:

• Strong leadership able to work with multidisciplinary field operations team.
   

Education & experience: 

• Likely to have degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Significant experience in Drilling, Completion and Workover operations
• 15+ years as onsite supervisor for operator/contract drilling supervisor 
• Well-Control Certification.
