Reservoir Simulation Engineer / MENA Region

Our client is an International Oil Company with an established camp in Algeria.

For them we are seeking a highly experienced Reservoir Simulation Engineer, to work on 28x28 rotation, to take responsibility for:

• building Reservoir Simulations and Model Development using Landmark VIP and Nexus Reservoir Simulators
• Reservoir Performance Forecast
• hydrocarbon fluid characterization
• well test analysis
• material balance
• production logging and nodal analysis
• reservoir Surveillance and Data Management.

We are looking for 10+ years’ experience of reservoir simulation and model development, both black-oil and fully compositional, waterflood / miscible gas floods, history matching, water-alternating-gas (WAG) flooding in a Production environment, working alongside Production and Operations Engineers. French language and Algerian experience is always preferable, but not essential.

To be eligible for an Algerian Visa, you must be degree qualified (preferably MSc Petroleum) and below retirement age. We do not have a target rate for this role, so please advise your expectations, tax paid. All expenses, including flights, travel days (please advise point of origin) and accommodation are covered. This is expected to be a long term contract (initially one year).
