Design Team Leader (Pavements) - Asia Pacific

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Design Team Leader with strong Pavements experience of a recently awarded Road/ Airport project in Asia Pacific.

Opportunity:

My client is a leading consultancy who has successfully undertaken numerous projects around the region. Following the development/ design phase the project shall likely move in to construction supervision phase.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the team in all aspects relating to the scope of the project, according to the ToR
• Oversee Technical Tender document preparation
• Coordinate the preparation of procurement documents
• Carry out detailed technical evaluation of Airport Pavements (Construction & Rehabilitation) based on applicable standards, methods and specifications; local geotechnical and climactic conditions; and material availability & quality
• Assess Pavement recycling & local material supplies.
• Assist the highways expert with assessment and design of existing & new roads.

Key requirements for the role:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields
• 15 years of International experience
• 10 years of Managerial experience
• 5 years of Management of Airfield or Road projects
• Regional experience would be beneficial

Language:

Fluency in English writing and communication

Salary Package:

The salary package is currently unknown however would be expected to be around $8- 12,000 tax free as well as a full expatriate package including Flights, accommodation etc.
