Senior Quantity Surveyor – Residential - Growing Main Contractor / England

One of the country’s leading Main Contractors are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a new build residential project based in Essex. The project details are yet to be released but this business typically deliver residential schemes, often RC Frame or care homes, valuing over £20m.

This role would suit someone who has previously worked on residential projects with a Main Contractor as the No.1 commercial point of contact, or feel this is the next step in your career. This will be a Site based role and as a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be leading the commercial aspects of this site. This is an opportunity to own the site from day one with control of all financials and orders.

This position reports in to a visiting Commercial Manager and will have other Surveyors as direct reports.

The ideal candidate MUST have;

• Experience working on a residential schemes, ideally RC Frame
• Experience working for a Main Contractor, ideally a leading company.

It is desirable to have;

• HNC/Degree related to construction – ideally Surveying
• Experience working on residential projects
