Network Operation Lead
Details of Role & Responsibilities
- Accountable for the delivery of Refresh and Change activity
- Responsible for the delivery of all network-related projects; such as but not limited to UFNM, IP6V, Site of the Future, etc.
- Coordinate and ensure delivery of ad-hoc requirements from the business - i.e. GWO and GOO. These include but not limited to rigs, WTUs, offices, camps, etc.
- Coordinate all change management activities related to the Oman telecoms/networks infrastructures.
- Coordinate and ensure alignment between major projects and OCT in delivery or operating of both Muscat and Khazzan Networks.
- Accountable for all networks related HSSE matters such as CoWs and addressing all HSSE actions as a result of observation, incident or periodic inspections
- Assure following of the global IT&S Service Management process (Incident Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, and Risk Management).
- Supporting IT&S Enterprise Networks, through
- Acting as the local point of contact / escalation for the business for network issues and other activity.
- Acting as the local interface for Telecoms Service Providers and Maintenance Contractors in support of central teams
- Providing input to central teams on local regulation and compliance. (Incl. OMS, ETPs, IT&S Architecture, Digital Security, etc.).
- Coordination and seeking approvals from Telecoms Regulatory Authorities
- Participate in the identification, mitigation, and management of operational telecoms risks - feeding back to Enterprise Networks for mitigation and contingency action delivery
- Provide local assistance to the central networks team in delivering operational support to Drilling and Completion, Construction, Engineering, and Operations teams at field sites'
- Work with all the support entities to provide ad-hoc and periodic consolidated Oman network performance reports'
Suitable candidates will possess:
- Solid experience on Telecoms / Networking Experience of minimum 5 years
- Work experience in Upstream onshore environment
- Good exposure to Project Management
- Good communications skills
