Experienced Estimator / New Zealand

We have been engaged by one of the market-leading access and roofing solutions contractor for an Estimator to join their growing business. This role will be based in South Taranaki, one of the best locations nation-wide for an amazing work life balance.

The main component of this position is estimating however there is a light sales portion. On the estimating side of things you’ll be working in a fast paced environment delivering approximately between 30 and 40 quotes a day, the majority of these will be inbound quotes where you’re estimates will provide clarity on what the business should prioritize. Secondly, the sales component will be liaising with clients and breaking down quotes for their further understanding.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills both written and verbal as well as having the capacity to visualize a project from throughout the delivery of the project finishing with handover to the client. There’s a high dependency on using IT within this position so you must be able to work your way around computers and other IT programs/systems.
