Senior Equipment and Well Engineer / Qatar

Our client in Qatar have a requirement for a Senior Equipment and Well Engineer to be based in Doha, Qatar, for a 2 year contract. Role is offered on single status.

This position is primarily accountable for assigning fit for purpose equipment to ensure integrity of well construction.

Within the drilling team, the Senior Well Equipment Engineer:

? Brings together the well engineering and equipment manufacture to ensure integrity of well construction

? Maintain records and prepare documentation necessary to meet operational and regulatory requirements

? Coordinates all inspection and certification services on equipment and materials pertaining to drilling and completion in line with company and industry standards.

? Assigns fit for purpose equipment to ensure integrity of well construction

? Participates in CFT process and ensure the suitability of equipment and personnel vs. operational requirements.

? Continuously searches for innovative approaches to improve operational procedures, equipment and contracted services.

? Accounts for quick implementation of lessons learned

? Ensure that a high level of operational efficiency is maintained throughout the company well operations

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

8 - 12 years Drilling Engineering experience

Communication skills, adaptability
