Site Manager - Commercial Construction - Immediate Start / Australia

Would you like to work with a WA owned contractor with future opportunities across Western Australia but without large top tier contractor pressures?

We have teamed up with a local commercial contractor; with portfolio of projects on the ground and more in the pipeline they are now seeking the services of an experienced Site Manager on a permanent basis.

This opportunity will see you managing all the construction activities on site; you will work directly alongside the Project Manager with an experienced site team to deliver the project successfully.  You will be in charge of the construction of various commercial, industrial and tilt-up projects from start to finish and will be responsible for managing and developing the program, co-ordination of sub-contractors, suppliers, and materials deliveries.  You will manage the OHS compliance on site including the site induction and will ensure the projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Experience required 

Extensive experience similar type projects in Perth – values up to $40m
Stable work history with tier 2 contractors
Ideally you will have previous project experience working on education projects working within a "live" environment. 
Good man-management skills with the ability to motivate & drive direct & sub-contract labor 
Highly skilled in OH&S 
Excellent time management and organisational skills 
Ability to solve problems and manage conflict effectively 
A commitment to quality and an eye for detail

This role offer's an excellent salary package plus vehicle allowance and fuel card.
