Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator / Sweden

THE ROLE

I am seeking a Quantity Surveyor/ Contract Administrator at intermediate level to work site based on a large tunnelling project for rail based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The project is mainly post contract work and contracts management.

The project is due to run for another eight years.

You will work as part of a small team working on management processes etc.

Fluent English is essential, Swedish language skills would be useful but not essential or you should have a willingness to learn.

THE COMPANY

My client is a successful firm of chartered quantity surveyors and project management consultants working closely with international clients on a variety of projects across the Nordics and Western Europe.

They have several offices and are continuing to grow.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Quantity Surveyor with good experience of Contract Administration and possibly Contract Management.

You will be an ambitious Quantity Surveyor who may come from a large civil engineering contractor, building contractor or construction consultants.

You will need to have a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or similar and you will be at intermediate level.

You will work closely with a Senior QS who will also act as the Contracts Manager.

It is essential that you have good experience of all post contract quantity surveying duties and an understanding of civil engineering contracts.

Experience of projects for tunnelling is preferred, or other large infrastructure or rail projects.

Excellent prospects for ambitious candidates to work closely with clients and the professional teams.

Salary is negotiable according to level of experience.
