Responsibilities:
Plan, follow-up, oversee and control the functions of materials and equipment delivery to meet the required at site dates. Assess, evaluate and steward the closing and reporting on technical predicaments, issues and risks associated with the materials/equipment and logistics coordination functions.
Organize, coordinate, follow up and reporting on all importation and exportation permit applications and the associated custom clearances to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of investment and drawback materials and equipment from outside of country into work site inside Myanmar and vice versa.
Organize, coordinate, follow up and reporting of personnel movement to and from the work site within Myanmar. Oversee the booking and transportation of Company and Contractor’s personnel using Company’s operated fixed and rotary aircrafts.
Safe keeping of all documentation associated with import/export permit approval applications, custom clearances and material/equipment inventory control.
Interface and coordinate with the PMT’s managers, engineers, planner, coordinators on material/equipment delivery and personnel movement to and from work site. Progress reporting, action items and technical issues associated with material and logistics coordination
Interface and liaison with contractor, subcontractors, Company’s offices on issues that affect the material and logistics coordination functions.
Participates in internal and external management and project meetings, review and disseminate minutes of meeting and information pertaining to the issue discussed.
Overview contractor’s material/equipment handling, import and export performance.
Must share knowledge and experience and educate junior staff
Requirements:
At least a tertiary degree from a reputable university, preferably in engineering, science, business administration or quantity survey discipline.
At least 15 years of total experience of which 10 years must be directly associated with the material and logistics coordination functions for upstream offshore oil and gas production and processing projects. Experience in working with material and logistics functions for project inside Myanmar is an advantage.
Work experience with at least 2 multi millions USD EPCIC projects is essential.
Strong drive, motivated, good personal, oral and written communication skills are essential. Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
