Project Transport & Installation Engineer

Phase 2 Project is mainly a Greenfield Project with installation of 7 new WHP but there will be a major Brownfield challenge for integration of these new WHP into existing facilities in term of interfaces with other entities and SIMOPS works.

The Phase 2 Project T&I Engineer is responsible for the Jacket, decks and bridges transportation and installation. Batch 1 jacket package is planned to be executed Between Q3 2017 and Q3 2019 and Batch 1 topsides package between Q2 2018 and Q3 2020. Batch 2 is planned to be executed between 2019 and 2021.

The T&I Engineer will manage all activities concerning the T&I from CFT of the 4 EPC's up to completion of installation. During the course of the T&I execution he will manage dedicated teams onshore and offshore to cover all the phases of the T&I activities. This will include the Management of Marine Warranty Surveyor's activities. He will be based in the Major Projects premises during the CFT and will move to T&I Contractor's premises during EPC phase with travels to Major Project's premises as required.

The Job holder belongs to the Phase 2 PMT team and reports directly to the Phase 2 Project Manager.

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering,
  • Experience: At least 15 years' experience in the offshore oil & gas project with minimum 10 years' experience as T&I Engineer
  • Experience of subsea installation of Umbillical, Flowlines, Risers in shallow water will be a plus.
  • Experience of similar project during construction phase at yard will be a plus.
  • Experience within a project team: At least 5 years' experience within large multinational taskforce team environment,
  • Track records of offshore attendance during jackets, decks and pipelines installation
  • Experience in offshore facilities at conceptual and pre-FEED stage is a plus.
  • Available for technical missions worldwide,
  • Familiar with General Specifications, Prodom, MOQ standards and relevant codes and standards,
  • Language: Fluent English,
  • Computer literate,
  • Good leadership skills and good communication skills,
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
  • Good analytical skills,
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
