A leading oil and gas major are looking for a Planning Lead to join their Deepwater and Subsea Division.
The scope is composed of four main steps as follows:
Step 1: Mapping of the key activities to be incorporated into the DWPL Integrated Planning(development studies, roadmap…)
You will conduct an exhaustive review of all the planning initiatives already implemented within DWPL that the DWPL Integrated Planning should ultimately replace or could be fed from. This review will help DWPL Entities express their needs and expectations.
You will perform a detailed analysis of the work breakdown structure of the identified activities and the interfaces between DWPL Entities and external contributing entities.
Step 2: Screening of solutions
You will conduct a post-mortem of past planning initiatives which have finally failed. This review will help identify root causes which shall not be repeated.
You will perform an internal / external benchmark of best practices in terms of integrated planning in order to select a fit-for-purpose and sustainable solution to be implemented.
Step 3: Develop a pilot
You will develop a pilot phase of the DWPL Integrated Planning which should be based on Primavera software. Possible interfaces with more user-friendly planning tools could be proposed.
You will define new process and workflows for updating the DWPL Integrated Planning.
Step 4: Deployment of the pilot
You will deploy the pilot of the DWPL Integrated Planning
You shall adapt the tool, process and workflows based on the feedback received during this pilot phase, in order to proceed with the final implementation.
Technical Requirements and Experience:
Experienced project planning services, at least 20 year-long experience with both major Operators and Engineering Companies
Be able to conduct such a project with great autonomy
Highly competent in Primavera P6
Be familiar with the Oil & Gas Development processes
Be able to develop excellent working relationships with all protagonists
Be opened to lean initiatives
Demonstrate great communication skills both formal and informal
English professional efficiency is required
Master degree in Project Management
