ROLE: Construction Manager

LOCATION: Hampshire + Site Visits

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Construction Manager with Design and Build experience to join the team in the Ringwood office at the edge of the New Forest. The role is within a multi-discipline team within a specialist design and build company charged with delivering a range of complex and challenging projects for a diverse variety of clients across the United Kingdom.

What you'll be doing As a Construction Manager, you will have the following accountabilities:

* Demonstrate safety excellence, communicating safety with passion and credibility, inspire, motivate and manage the project team to achieve the vision;

* Actively engaging with the customer to understand and deliver their key sustainability objectives;

* Manage the customer relationship during delivery, including change and decision making to manage expectations;

* Ensure the Company procedures and policies are followed by the relevant teams, i.e. the Business Management System , including the gated lifecycle;

* Ensure effective records are maintained and kept for project delivery;

* Report periodically to Senior Management on project progress, risks and issues using robust reporting systems to meet the needs of the business such as using the business lifecycle model;

* Thorough implementation of planning, risk, project controls and change controls;

Who we're looking for

The following qualifications and experience are required for the role:

* Experience of working at airports or other live operational environments;

* SMSTS; * First Aid; * Temporary Works Coordinator; * CSCS; * Asbestos awareness - fire marshal;

* Previous experience in the construction of groundwork, drainage, erection of steel framed structures & PCC frames, cladding and M&E .
