Senior Project Surveyor – Infrastructure / England

Salary / Rate: £50000 to £68000 per annum, pension, RICS fees, health insurance etc.

THE ROLE

I am now seeking a Senior Project Surveyor (Quantity Surveyor) to join a large firm of construction consultants in Birmingham to work on a range of infrastructure projects.

You will need to have around four years or more post graduation experience and either be working towards becoming chartered or be chartered with the RICS.

Our client seeks someone to work on a range of projects using NEC contracts and on high value projects.

THE CLIENT

Our client is a successful large firm of multi disciplinary consultants with offices across the UK and Worldwide.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Senior Project Surveyor, ideally MRICS qualified or working towards such.

Experience gained of key infrastructure projects is required.

Experience of cost estimates, managing the tender process including review and analyse tender returns and prepare recommendations for clients.

Experience of value and risk management.

Deal with budgets through the design and construction phases.

Experience of earned value reports.

Experience of cash flows.

Estimating of variations orders for Subcontractors / GC Contractors plus review and evaluate payment certificates for same.

It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will deal directly with clients.

Salary is likely to be in the region of £50000 to £68000 or more plus pension contribution and RICS fees plus good pension contribution, private health insurance and other benefits.
