Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Nottinghamshire – Newark/Mansfield - £40,000

A leading Manufacturer within heavy industry are expanding and currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. Working on a high profile site, you will be responsible for working in a team and conducting all maintenance tasks associated with Mechanical Engineering,

The right person for this role will be an experienced time- served, mechanical engineer possessing knowledge and experience of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors and welding.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all equipment is serviced and repaired efficiently
• Pre-Planned Maintenance is carried out effectively and downtime reduced
• Fault finding and problem solving on machinery and systems
• Working with Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Welding and fabrication

Essential

• Apprentice trained (Mechanical)
• Experience of working  on a heavy plant  or similar equipment 
• Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Conveyors, Gearboxes, Welding
• Willing to work shifts
