- Duration: 8 months (then yearly renewed)
- Salary: Negotiable
- Rotation: 75 / 21 days
- Working Week: 6 days p/week - 10 hrs p/day
- Accommodation / Flights / Insurances provided by Client
- Interface with the Design and Installation engineering in regards
The onshore works (i.e on shore pipeline / Thrust anchor installation / trenchless technology / open trench / Plant installation works)
The shore approaches (i.e. elevated excavator capability / Offshore Open trench limitation / Linear winch position and retaining system) ;
Management of the Onshore subcontractor;
Interface with client during the installation activities;
Interface with the local authority - Ensure the planning and management of the project construction activities, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring approach, supervising multidisciplinary construction works according to the contract requirements and project objectives
Ensure time, costs, quality, safety targets are met, through direct coordination and management of a project construction team, interfacing with project organization, subcontractors, suppliers and clients - Provide the guidelines for the definition of construction execution plan and its strategies, such as subcontracting plans, logistic and constructability studies, during the earlier stages of the project
Participate in defining the overall project planning and scheduling for construction activities especially in regards shore pull works and offshore dredging works with elevated excavator
Ensure that the activities are carried out within the planned time and costs, coordinating and instructing the construction team accordingly and intervening with corrective actions in case of deviations or difficulties
Ensure and coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of the assigned resources, in accordance with the project planned time frame and project needs
Coordinate the execution of multidisciplinary construction activities and manage activities assigned to subcontractors,
providing the guidelines for the execution of the works and monitoring the adequacy of manpower and equipment to face the construction activities
Give technical support to project management to evaluate any variation requests
Manage the interfaces with the Client for all the matters relevant to construction activities
Manage the interfaces with engineering departments for drawings and materials availability
Participate to the Project Risk Assessment called by the Project Manager - The employee will be based in Saudi/Dammam and will support the projects / bids based on technical knowledge.
During project execution will be on site following and coordinating the on shore subcontractors and the team dedicated at the shore approaches preparatory works.
