Mechanical Technician – Widnes - £36k + Benefits

I am looking for a time served, mechanical technician to join a Top Tier COMAH site in Widnes. The right candidate will join the maintenance team and undertake safe and effective maintenance practices on site. You will assist the Mechanical Supervisor with daily tasks and assist with preventative and predictive maintenance schedules to improve reliability on site.

The company is looking to double business size over the next 5-10 years through acquisition and is very open to investing in their people to develop and keep staff members progressing. It is an exciting time to be joining the team and the business is continuing to invest.

The ideal candidate will be apprentice trained and have spent time on a live manufacturing plant. A good working knowledge of static and rotating equipment is required, and knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance would be ideal. As the site is a Top Tier COMAH site, experience with COMAH legislation would essential.
