This EC&I Engineering job will require you to provide support from concept through to design, installation, commissioning and final handover to the client of a particular project.

This EC&I Engineering job will require you to provide support from concept through to design, installation, commissioning and final handover to the client of a particular project.
Responsibilities as an EC&I Designer
- Set up and review EC&I detailed design documents for oil and gas projects
- Prepare control panel designs, including general arrangements and wiring diagrams
- Develop EC&I schedules
- Deliver design calculations including heat loss, power, cable size
- Performing site surveys
- Deliver project requirements from concept through to commissioning
- Develop scope of work and other associated design documentation
- Work to national and international standards and regulations
Essential Requirements as an EC&I Designer
- Experience working on control systems, instrumentation and functional safety
- Knowledge of ATEX directives
- LV competency
- Industry experience within oil and gas, chemicals or power
- Experience of flow-metering
- Familiarity of hazardous environments/COMAH
- Understanding of earthing and lighting protection
- Experience working with Autodesk/AutoCad
- A value-focussed, ambitious and team driven attitude
