GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Working for a reputable E&P Company the Field Superintendent is to manage the safety and environmental stewardship, operations and the financial aspects of his area of report. As field superintendent, you will be responsible for setting direction and managing execution for safety initiatives, operations and operational improvements. Also, you will be responsible for coordinating and aligning asset teams to safely delivering production, LOE and profit/expenses targets.

The field superintendent has performance evaluations of salaried employees in his area and review and approval of Company hourly employee's evaluations under his salaried employees. Also, you should have sign off approval for projects in his area and the equipment required in his area and be the first line of management between the Company and landowners and State and Federal agents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and set agenda for safety initiatives and quarterly meetings.
  • Responsible for review and managing investigations of any incidents that occurred.
  • Review and implement compliance of air permits, safety procedures and competency training modules.
  • Review performance of field production versus monthly, quarterly and yearly targets. This duty is performed daily, monthly and quarterly.
  • Develop, present and review budget and monthly forecasts.
  • Review and approval budget, monthly forecasts, purchase orders and invoices for LOE.
  • Review performance and forecast of LOE. This duty is performed monthly, about 15% of the time.
  • Develop and mentor personnel following Company talent management process.
  • Review and discuss upcoming projects with engineering.
  • Discuss and interview potential new vendors and their products.
  • Review vendors performance and discuss/creation action plans to close any gaps.
  • Develop and set agenda for monthly asset review meetings with engineering and operations team
  • Make field and facility inspections with foreman, lead operator, and operators.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
