This local British managed specialist contractor is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to be based in Korea with some travel to Japan.
 
Job Role and Purpose
 
The Commercial Manager is responsible for the financial management of company projects and to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
 
The role will be to lead and manage the review of project contract terms, budget analysis, cost control, management reporting activities, final accounts settlements and to support the sales and operations teams in variations & disputes management.
 
The roles is a key contributor to revenue and profit margins maximisation, through an effective due diligence of Contracts review, accurate estimating and pricing, pre and post risk assessments and a structured projects control and reporting methodology.
 
A continuous collaboration is essential, to work closely with the procurement, sales and construction teams to ensure profitable completion
Projects range from £25k to £2.5m

Requirements:
  • Experience in civils or with a specialist contractor would be beneficial
  • 5 years experience in similar role
  • Preferably holds a Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying or other similar or related qualifications.
