Introduction Text: We have the requirement for a Competence Assessor & Verifier Focal Point to support multiple assets. We need an experienced competence professional with experience of assessing, verifying and developing competence management systems who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the market.
The position is onshore based in Aberdeen.

- To drive the Competence Management Framework on multiple UKCS assets
- Ensure a focus on Multi-skilling is maintained through the effective co-ordination and management of all competence programmes
- Coordinate key learning, development and competence projects, and functional activities. Support us through compliance, legislative and best practice industry standards and specific client requirements. Coordinate key learning, development and competence projects, and functional activities
- Promote the development of the company competence management system programme in accordance with the multi-skilling strategy
- Implement competence management system promoting industry best practice guidance, observing and coaching individuals as required
- Collate and consolidate all existing competence management data
- Investigate competencies of present workforce and establish qualifications and training needs of present workforce
- Establish and conduct gap analysis of present and new workforce in line with the competence management systems
- Conduct one-to-one competence interviews where necessary and implement and administer the competence reward structure
- Establish installations / site-specific training requirements
- Support the workforce, assessors and verifiers through the competence management programme and support the workforce through competence assessments and verification, involving offshore visits as required
- Prepare and issue training matrices, expiry reports, general training and competence reports and key performance indicators (KPI`s)
- Support maximum return of legislative ECITB levy return
- Vocational Qualification in Trade and/or Operations
- Qualified and active Assessor
- Qualified and active Verifier
- Coaching Skills (assessor, verifiers and candidates)
- BOSIET/FOET
- Understanding/working knowledge of industry bodies e.g. ECITB, SQA,OPITO etc
