Introduction

We are pleased to offer the following key contract positions: Project development - electrical subsea power cable engineer

Work Location: Oslo, Fornebu

Start date: 01.11.2019 - 31.12.2020

Option period: 4 x 6 months

Number of consultants: 1-2

Description

  • Handle all relevant engineering matters related to the electrical subsea power cables
  • Ensure alignment within the electrical discipline
  • Ensure experience transfer to and from the project
  • Ensure alignment with Company’s discipline line organisation.
  • Ensure integration and coordination with other project disciplines.
  • Co-ordinate discipline tasks across contract boarders
  • Participate in discipline and multidiscipline reviews
  • Identify and contribute to closing of technical uncertainties

Requirements

  • Master of Science or Bachelor of Science within electrical power engineering ("elkraft", high voltage)
  • Competence within electrical subsea power cable design, testing and installation
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience from offshore project execution
  • HSE training in accordance with Company recommendations
  • Multi-discipline understanding
  • Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards and preferably Company’s technical requirements
  • Ability to work in a team
  • High ethical standards and adherence to Company's ethical requirements
  • Ability to handle high work loads. Experience with design and follow up manufacturing of AC and DC subsea power cables for voltage levels above 36kV required
  • Language requirements: English and Norwegian
