Rail Civils Project Manager / Bangladesh

The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are seeking a Civils focused Project Manager to join a leading consulting engineering firm on a mainline project in Bangladesh.

Job Role / Responsibilities

The job role will be work in the field of Rail, Civils, and Double track upgrades.

Perform the role of 'The Engineer' following FIDIC.

In-change of overall supervision of the construction works.

Responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, quality control, time & cost management and closure of a project.

Manage and superintend the day-to-day working, utilization, implementation and technical consultants engaged on client assignments. Assign tasks of all other experts.

Co-ordinate among experts of head office and field offices; Employer, Contractor & sub- contractors and required support levels. If required arrange trainings.

Monitor the progress, prepare a standard progress report and submit it in due time.

Arrange presentation/meetings/workshops for Project Steering Committee/ Project Implementation Committee/ Other government agencies etc.

Produce reports for visit of donor agency/high officials of Bangladesh and arrange field visits.

Arrange weekly progress meeting, Monthly progress meetings, and special technical meeting (if required) and issue minutes.

Arrange co-ordination meeting among experts.

Other tasks assigned by the Employer

Location

The role will be based in Bangladesh providing Management support on a mainline project, presenting massive opportunities to save money due to the cheap nature of the country.

Salary Package

The salary package consists of $11,000 - $14,000 PCM with flights.

Requirements

For this role the client that we are working with have a minimum requirement of

Graduation in Civil Engineering

20 years of working experience in Railway field including

5 years' experience as Project Manager/Team Leader of supervision consultancy

Extensive international Asia experience

World Bank/ADB funded project experience.
