Electrical and Instrument Technician LNG / UAE

Our client in UAE is looking for an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, who must have previous LNG experience.

The role is to perform electrical and instrumentation maintenance, fault diagnostics, repair and modification activities to provide optimal availability, reliability and cost optimization whist ensuring that the highest safety and environmental standards are maintained. Incumbent will also assume role of area authority for PTW issued for maintenance on LNG jetty.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Degree/diploma in Electrical engineering or other relevant field

Post certificate maintenance experience in oil and gas industry

Experience in a senior role

Experience in safe low, medium, voltage electrical isolation procedures including 400v systems

Experience of working in hazardous classified areas such as class 1 division and 2, or ex zones 1, 2 and 3

Skilled in Root cause analysis

Experience in computerized maintenance management systems

Ability to communicate effectively in English

Self motivated and capable of making rational decisions based on available information and prevailing conditions

Working knowledge of computer software

Driving licence
