Instrument & Control Systems Engineer

Location: Houston, TX (occasional travel)

Schedule: 9/80

Duration: Long-term contract assignment

Pay: $60-$65 per hour

Scope:

This project modifies existing and installs new safety instrumented systems in process units across multiple refineries. The Instrument & Control Systems Engineer works as a member of the Owner’s SIS/ICE Engineering team and as part of a multi-functional team.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience as an instrument engineer on capital projects, preferably including conceptual design, FEED development, detail design and construction phases
Demonstrates understanding and experience in Instrumentation and Control Systems installation, commissioning, operation and/or startup in manufacturing facilities, including the ability to be detail-oriented in multiple areas
Knowledge of refinery processes, technologies, designs, and operation
Provides instrument design expertise for design and selection of equipment
Supports instrumentation and control systems construction and commissioning planning
