We are currently recruiting for a leading international construction business who typically deliver hospital projects and a requirement for a Construction Director has arisen. This role will be based in the UK head office but may require some international travel to locations such as The Caribbean, Middle East and Africa. This is a chance to get involved with a forward thinking business that have become a worldwide brand and the go to company for major hospital projects.
This is a senior role within the organisation and you will be reporting directly in to the Managing Director. You will control the business from a delivery aspect and be involved in many key, business critical decisions.
This senior management appointment demands a conscientious individual with a stable employment track record who is currently in a similar role and can demonstrate strong analytical skills and business acumen.
As you will be wholly responsible for the company’s delivery function you must have necessary drive and enthusiasm not only to adopt overall control of their contract teams.
The ability to execute contracts in an efficient and timely manner is of paramount importance, as is the style, professionalism and motivation required to deal effectively with Clients, as well as all level of support personnel.
Typical values of schemes will be between £50m and £300m.
This appointment offers a unique career opportunity, and the successful candidate will be involved in the management and the future development of the company. There will also be some international travel involved.
Degree qualified is a must for this role.
