Engineering Manager – Derbyshire/Leicestershire - £50,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Package

We are a Global business who works in partnership with some of the UK and Europe’s largest industrial manufacturers. One of these clients is currently seeking an Engineering Manager to join one of their high profile sites in the Derbyshire area.

The company are one of the largest in their market and are continuing to grow and invest into their business and many sites across the UK. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the engineering and maintenance team whilst maintaining and improving plant and equipment.

Key duties of the role will involve

• Plan, coordinate and manage all engineering and maintenance activities on site
• Oversee maintenance and construction schedules, including plant preventative maintenance schedules
• CAPEX projects
• Managing contractors on site
• Planning of plant shuts downs
• Responsible for maintenance costs and budget

 Essential requirements for the role

• Degree or HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
• Experience of managing a team
• Experience of managing maintenance costs and budgets
• Continuous Improvement
• CAPEX experience
• Knowledge of PPM schedules
• Experience of working within an automated manufacturing environment  
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
