Lead Protection & Control Engineer / USA

My client are a Multifaceted Engineering firm with over 10,000 Employees and 100 offices World Wide, with a combined focus on Energy and Infrastructure they are leading the way with regards to innovation in their chosen disciplines.

They are looking for an experienced Lead Protection & Control Engineer to be based at their Austin office overseeing a number High Voltage Transmission projects within their T&D portfolio. As the ideal candidate, you will have a Professional Engineering Accreditation (P.E) and possess a minimum of 7 Years experience within the Design and Engineering of 345kv Substations. You will have engineering experience with SEL and GE Relays.

Client: Engineering firm

Salary: $100,000USD - $120,000USD Gross per Annum + Benefits (Bonus, Medical, 401k etc.)

Location: Austin, Texas

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Permanent

Hours: Full time

Days per week: 5

Work Permit/Visa Required: Yes, Must be eligible to work within the United States WITHOUT Sponsorship. (US Passport/Green Card holder or Indefinite Leave to Remain within the US).

Profile:

• Must have Electrical Engineering Degree (Minimum BSc)
• Professional Engineering Accreditation (P.E)
• Minimum 7 Years experience within the Design and Engineering of 345kv Substations
• Experience within GE & SEL Relays
• Aspen, ETAP and SKM Software experience
• Must be from a Consultancy/Engineering background
• Excellent communication and management skills
